No Reflux

Last Wednesday we took Canon to have him checked out to see if he had any reflux in his bladder/kidney structure. Thank goodness he was given a reflux free bill of health. Monday we go to his pediatric urologist to find out if he has any blockage that is keeping his kidney from emptying. He has been on an antibiotic for the last week or so and has seemed to be feeling increasingly better and much more relaxed. The doc seems to think he could have had some urine reflux earlier which can cause a UTI or kidney infection that these antibiotics can knock out. He also said that this reflux can subside and heal itself after awhile. There seems to be a confluence of issues that are either healing themselves, God is healing or that the antibiotics are healing. The best outcome from Monday's appt. would be that there is no blockage and he would not have to have surgery. Amazingly the surgery option seems to be looking less and less likely but we will have to see what the doctor says. Praise the Lord! I'll update Monday following his appt.
